Bernd Klötzing

Following his training as a bank clerk at the Dresdner Bank AG, Hamburg, and during his studies in Göttingen, Mr Klötzing (born 1957) was academic assistant to the Teaching Chair for Civil Law, Prof. Dr. Uwe Diederichsen, and also spent one semester abroad in Lausanne. Also during his professional training in Göttingen he spent a period abroad in Sydney. After his second state legal examination (final qualification as a German lawyer) he initially taught at the nursing school of the Göttingen University Hospital before coming to Oldenburg in 1992 as a lawyer. After periods in two other regional law practices, Mr Klötzing qualified in 2002 as specialist lawyer for taxation law and came to the KDK.
Beside handling general civil and corporate law briefs, Mr Klötzing also deals with those in the field of banking law and trade and commercial law. One focus of his activities is the conduct of cases before the civil courts. Besides his profound experience in court proceedings and negotiations, his additional studies in mediation also qualify him to make a contribution to extra-judicial settlement as arbitrator, conciliator or mediator.
Outside the practice, Mr Klötzing spends his time with his family, especially in the kitchen, and with his Harley Davidson.
