Otto Korte

  • Tax Advisor
  • German Lawyer
  • Specialist Lawyer for Taxation Law

On completion of his studies in Göttingen, Mr Korte (born in 1951) joined the tax authorities of the Federal State of Lower Saxony in 1980 as a senior civil servant. His position on leaving was Deputy Director of the Cloppenburg Tax Authority.

From 1983 until he qualified as lawyer and tax advisor in 1985, he was employed as international taxation consultant in the central taxation department of the company Nixdorf Computer AG, Paderborn. Up until 1991, when he founded the current partnership - Sozietät KDK - with Prof. Peter Feitsch (now retired), Mr Korte was a partner in an accountancy and auditing firm in Oldenburg.

Among Mr Korte's many corporate law briefs, those involving the regulation of property and corporate succession - sometimes with international application - and his experience in the establishment and consultative support of foundations are particularly worthy of note.

Mr Korte can support you in negotiations with English-speaking partners and in other international matters, also with regard to international taxation law. Not least because of his many years of experience in financial administration, he often contributes to the settlement of tax offence proceedings without trial. As a result of his professional commitment, Mr Korte acts as executor and sits on a number of supervisory committees.
