After training at the tax authorities of the Federal State of Lower Saxony, Mr Dierkes (born 1965) worked in the higher echelons there until 1990, before commencing his legal studies in Osnabrück. During his professional training in Oldenburg, with a period at an auditing firm in Canada, he also worked part-time in a law and accountancy firm. At the same time, he studied taxation law in Osnabrück, gaining the qualification Magister Rerum Fiscalium (MRF). He has been working with the KDK since qualification as a lawyer in 1997. Following his qualification as tax advisor (1999) and specialist lawyer for taxation law (2000), he became a partner. In addition, Mr Dierkes qualified as a German certified accountant in October 2004.
In the field of corporate law briefs, Mr Dierkes’ specialist areas include the management of projects for the creation of renewable energies , also with international connections. But it is not only to the field of fund management that he applies his expertise in national and international taxation law ; Mr Dierkes is also happy to help you in corporate restructuring, matters involving extra-judicial and court appeal cases (particularly before the financial courts) and in issues relating to taxation offences.
As a result of his activities in the field of renewable energies, Mr Dierkes is lecturer for contract law in the postgraduate studies "Windenergietechnik und -management" at the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg and a member of the legal committee and the committee for the financing of international projects for the Federal Association of Wind Energy (BWE).
In a private capacity, he has enjoyed martial arts for many years and is a keen recreational diver.
