Ulf Künnemann

After his training as specialist taxation clerk, Dr. Künnemann (born 1964) studied in Saarbrücken and Münster, where, following a period working at the Institute for German and European Corporate Law (Institut für Deutsches und Europäisches Unternehmensrecht) under Prof. Dr. W. Timm, he obtained his doctorate with a thesis entitled "The Foundation within the System of the Subordinate Concern". To complete his taxation specialisation, he took an additional degree in taxation law at the University of Osnabrück, receiving award of the Magister Rerum Fiscalium (MRF). Already during his professional training in Oldenburg Dr. Künnemann worked with the KDK, as a lawyer after his qualification in 1995 and from 2000 also as tax advisor. In the same year he became a KDK partner.

In the field of corporate law , Dr. Künnemann specialises particularly in the formation and liquidation of companies as well as restructuring and the commercial aspects of property succession , always having particular regard to the fiscal preconditions and consequences. Dr. Künnemann is also the appropriate contact person for professional law issues (physicians, accountants).

Privately, Dr. Künnemann’s interests are his family and sport (tennis and sailing).
